Francesco Attesti, pianist
Born in Cortona, Italy, Francesco qualified at the “I Cherubini” Conservatory in Florence. His studies continued at the “Sommerakademie Mozarteum” in Salzburg. Mr. Attesti quickly distinguished himself, winning numerous prizes in many piano competitions including the Ibla Grand Prize International, and the F.I.D.A.P.A. Competition. Attesti has been acclaimed as a great classical concert performer and a brilliant interpreter of early music and the romantic repertoire. He performs regularly for many associations and festivals such as the Shostakovich Philharmonia Hall in St. Petersburg; the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Moscow; the International Piano Festival (Warsaw, Poland); the University of Cambridge, King’s Lynn Musical Society (England); the Sarajevo Winter Festival (Bosnia-Herzegovina); the Italian Cultural Institute (Copenhagen, Denmark); the Philharmonie Essen, “F. Chopin” Music Association, (Germany); “La Societa dei Concerti”, “Festival Internazionale per la Pace”(Italy). In 2007, Mr. Attesti was the pianist in the first world recording of the Verdi Requiem transcription for piano and organ.

Matteo Galli, organist
Matteo received his diploma in organ and composition at the “G. Nicolini” Conservatoire of Piacenza. Additional specialized courses were attended at the Conservatoire of Toulouse, the Acadamie d’orgue of Porrentruj (Switzerland), and at the Royal Conservatoire of Bruxelles. He contributes to the research and indexing of ancient organs as well as acting as a technical consultant in the restoration of some instruments. He is the founder and director of the instrumental ensemble “Academia Sancti Satyri Mediolani”, focusing on Baroque repertoire using original instruments. Mr. Galli is the co-founder of the cultural society called “Le Voci della Citta” dedicated to historical instruments, ancient organs, and performances. The Verdi Requiem transcription for organ and piano was found by Mr.Galli in an archive in 2005.
